Pablo was the best server I have had in a long time, his energy and personality are unmatched. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great right off the main strip with some light traffic. Would definitely recommend.

Saw it recommended by the Andalusian culinary institute so went there with the family for dinner. The place looks like a traditional Spanish restaurant. We had the charcuterie and the oven roasted artichokes. The artichokes were the best I’ve ever had. The special dish is the cod so we had the Pili Pili and the vizcaíno one. Both delicious. The service was very good. Recommend reservations.

Yes! Hit this location. You will not regret your visit. From the starter with the olives, bread, and paea it was all so delicious. The waiters were super nice and attentive. Don't forget to get the desert. Tasty!

Good meat decent price and great funny host! Except for the strange bread prank. They give you (dry) bread, wich you think is just a standard welcome pre-dinner thing. These little dry breads cost 2,- each!! We would give this restaurant a full 5 stars if they didn't do/try this... we didn't have to pay because we said we didn't order it, so no problem.... but they don't need this, keep it honest and focus on the nice dinner, not making a extra 2 euros (12 in our case, 6 persons) We had a great dinner and a nice time nonetheless! Credits to Pablo, great guy!

We came back again after being here in August of this year. Again it didn't disappoint. Even though the staff were crazy busy and tired (Christmas light show in Malaga) they still had time to smile and greet and talk to us so professionally. Thank you so much Rosio spelt wrong!) Tamara and last but not least Pablo. Our meal was super, we had the croquettes again. Main courses were Lamb and Pasta, very tasty. And despite being intimidated by annoying customers who had not booked and wouldn't take no for an answer, Pablo was so gracious and friendly and professional. Thank you all so much. It was fantastic. August 2025 Returned and yet again did not disappoint. Love the interior of ElTrillo, and our experience is of very friendly staff. I had Lamb Chops and Mike had the Chicken with Pepper sauce. It was good. Pablo sang as he worked and gave us all the attention we needed. If I only had one criticism, it would be of the assortment of dessert plate. ( we choose this between two). There were four pieces of meuille feuille, 2 brownies and one crème caramel. I felt that we got a lot of what was slow to sell. Nevertheless it tasted okay, but a little bit more imagination perhaps might make it more appealing Thanks again and we hope to be back, God willing at Christmas
